Well the performance today was just what we needed. It showed us that the team have got it in them and it looked very much like the attitude of whatisname, by not being around the squad, has galvanised the players to show that they are far from being a one man band.
To put this result into perspective this was a poorly performing Palace side that we beat but it was our commitment that impressed us fans. The first half showed how edgy both teams were because it lacked the blood and thunder of a derby and there was very little goalmouth action. The second half was completely different. Bilic corrected his mistake of starting with three at the back and restored the 442 set up and Antonio being more advanced paid off handsomely
The atmosphere was improved too and the disrespectful actions of whatisname have united most of us for the first time this season.

Missed this as was hard at work on my coaching papers. So having seen the goals I am well miffed - clearly not a modicum of respect for all the dross I've had to put up with this season.

No Kouyate stifling the midfield with his poor movement and passing was a real difference, we looked like a dangerous team going forward 2nd half for the first time all season.

I could not go today so typically without my miserable presence the team puts in a decent 45 mins and wins 3-0.
Watched part of the first half and all second half on a stream and have to say Fergouli did well I thought? Carroll, Antonio, Lanzini, Obiang were the standout players but after a dreadful first half the whole team responded well to the change of formation.
I predicted a loss what with the way everything had been going lately and was pleased to be wrong again. Well done to the manager and the team today.
